Education
Ender Demirel recieved B.S. degree from Eskisehir Osmangazi University in 1999. He completed M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in 2002 and 2008, respectively. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Georgia Institute of Technology.

Research
His current research interests are:
- CFD simulation of engineering applications.
- Flow features around hydraulic structures.
- Potable water treatment, disinfection contact tanks and mixing systems in engineering applications.
- Numerical simulation of transonic and supersonic external flows over aeronautical and space vehicles using open source CFD code OpenFOAM.
