TÜBİTAK Grant Awarded to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Karacasu's Project

We are pleased to announce that Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Karacasu, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Transportation Division, has received support from TÜBİTAK for his project titled:

"Investigation of the Effects of Nano Materials on the Marshall and Superpave Characteristics of Asphalt Hot Mixes."

The project will explore the use of Kolomanite and Magnesium Spinel modified bitumens in asphalt concrete. The goal is to enhance the wheel tracking and fatigue resistance of asphalt concrete with the produced mixtures.

We congratulate Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Karacasu on this achievement and wish him continued success in his research.
