Dr. Kadir Berkhan Akalın Receives Best Poster Presentation Award at Penn State

We are happy to announce that our department member, Dr. Kadir Berkhan Akalın, has been awarded 1st place in the audience poster session at the 16th Annual Postdoctoral Research Symposium, held at Penn State University, USA, on December 8, 2023.

Dr. Akalın received this prestigious award for his study titled "Health-Related Travel Mode Choice in Focus: Confronting Imbalance with Random Forest and Binary Logit Models." His research was selected as the best poster presentation among 41 postdoctoral researchers from Penn State University.

We congratulate Dr. Akalın on this outstanding achievement and wish him continued success in his academic career.
