TÜBİTAK Grant Awarded to Dr. Kadir Berkhan Akalın

We are pleased to announce that our department member, Dr. Kadir Berkhan Akalın, has been awarded funding under the 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program, administered by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) – Directorate of Science Fellowships and Grant Programs.

Dr. Akalın, a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering, Transportation Division, will conduct his postdoctoral research project titled "Utilization of Utility and Regret-Based Regularized Logistic Regression Methods for Determining the Factors Affecting Hospital Trip Mode Choice" at Penn State University for a period of seven months.
